Break Your Glass films and photographs Jewish weddings in Germany. We are based in Neu-Isenburg next to Frankfurt, and we work in English, Hebrew and German.
Families from several countries
Many Jewish weddings in Germany bring families together from several countries. At Tyron and Karen’s wedding in Munich people spoke Hebrew, English, German and Spanish. You do not have to explain to us what a tish is, when the glass comes or why the hora cannot be cut short.
Where we have filmed
- Munich: Tyron and Karen at the Ohel Jakob synagogue, five cameras, over 15 hours
- Frankfurt: a civil ceremony at the Römer and the party that followed
We also travel to other cities. Behind the brand is Film-labor, which has worked for the Jewish Community of Frankfurt, ZWST, Makkabi Deutschland, the Maccabiah, WIZO and EL AL.
